There has been a positive development of the presence of women in management positions of great companies and Government Business Sector.

VdA Academia has been following this change and announces the 5th edition of the Women on Boards Executive Program, at Vieira de Almeida's office in Lisbon, on the next 06, 07, 08, 21 and 22 May, in partnership with ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management, Porto Business School, PWN Lisbon and SHL Portugal.

This program arises to answer to the challenging paradigm of balanced representation between men and women in management and fiscal positions, both in corporate public sector entities, listed companies and Public Administration. In this context, for five days, knowledge and skills are developed in areas that are fundamental for the exercise of functions in management and fiscal positions, including management, legal and behavioral matters, providing the participants with an environment of knowledge for the resolution of situations in business practice.

The program counts with trainers from Vieira de Almeida (VdA) and SHL Portugal, as well as teachers from Porto Business School and ISEG. In this edition the opening session will be presented by Guta Moura Guedes, President and Artistic Director of ExperimentaDesign and on the remaining days the participants will be given the opportunity, in an environment of proximity and sharing, to network with guest speakers and with Key Note Speakers getting to know their experience and the challenges they face as managers. Subsequently, contacts are extended and the interactivity of Alumnae Women on Boards from previous editions is nurtured on events like the annual Women on Boards Meeting.
