VdA Academia is back with its Spring School, offering the opportunity to 100 law students from all over the country to develop the soft skills most valued by law firms.

In 2017, VdA Academia Spring School celebrates its 10^th edition, celebrating the date with an innovative format – it will take place from April 10^th to April 12^th, 2017, at Ô Hotel Golf Mar, in Vimeiro.

Spring School aims at complementing law students’ training, as well as at preparing them for the challenges of practising law as lawyers. Training is delivered by excellent trainers, including VdA’s lawyers and managers, trainers from TESE – Associação para o Desenvolvimento, FIND – HR consultant specialised in legal matters and PRO BONO – association that promotes legal volunteering.

The program includes workshops on topics as A Career at a Law Firm, What are the most sought after Talents by Law Firms?, Presentation Techniques, Negotiation Techniques, Personal Marketing, Time Management and Innovation in Social Responsibility, thus allowing the development of the personal and social skills most valued by law firms, as well as direct contact with VdA professionals and networking with students from different universities.

Participation in VdA Academia Spring School 2017 includes accommodation and meals at Ô Golf Mar Hotel (Vimeiro) and round-trip transportation from Lisbon, Coimbra and Oporto. A  symbolic registration fee of € 50 is charged which reverts totally for TESE – Associação para o Desenvolvimento (non-profit association) and the funding of a social project aiming at promoting young people’s employability.
