VdA Academia has created the Women on Boards Executive Programme, aiming to prepare female executives from both private and public sector companies, with the potential to join management and supervisory bodies, or who already belong to these bodies but wish to further develop their skills in a Fit-and-Proper context.

The Women on Boards Executive Programme developed by VdA Academia in partnership with Porto Business School and the Professional Women’s Network (PWN) Lisbon starts in March 2018 and includes management, legal and soft skills contents, developing know-how and capabilities in key areas to the performance of duties in executive and supervisory corporate bodies.

This Programme follows the enactment of Law no. 62/2017, of 1 August, that provides for a demanding framework of balanced representation of women and men in the management and supervisory bodies of both listed and public sector companies.
