VdA Academia supports the Conference "The International Fight Against Corruption - 15 Years of the UNCAC", in which Diogo Santana Lopes, Consultant at Vieira de Almeida & Associates participates as Speaker and Guest Moderator. The conference, which takes place on November 8th  at the University of Lisbon Faculty of Law, aims to anticipate the fifteenth anniversary of the entry into force of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (“UNCAC”) and to reflect on the effectiveness of an instrument that has raised such significant expectations in the international fight against corruption. In this regard, speakers will seek to analyze the normative and institutional mechanisms created by the Convention, as well as their legal-political impact and future challenges. The event is free and is not subject to prior registration or membership requirement at the University of Lisbon.
