VdA supports the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nacional de Timor-Leste

VdA's office in East Timor has awarded a prize to the best law student ever to graduate from Universidade Nacional de Timor-Leste Faculty of Law during an event that awarded the four best university graduates. VdA's East Timor country manager, Hugo Campaniço attributed a traineeship at VdA's East Timor office to João Freitas rewarding his hard work during his university years. VdA's East Timor office will thus be counting with a new trainee apart from two resident lawyers and an of Counsel joining a profound local knowledge with a vast experience in advising sectors such as telecoms, infrasctructure, finance, energy and natural resources, among others.

To be part of the local community and an active contributor to its people is among VdA's core principles. This award and this partnership with the University of East Timor, represented by Ângela Carrascalão, both as the university rector and VdA's of Counsel, are a result thereof.
