VdAcademia and VdA partnered once more with ELSA (European Law Student Association)  and with Católica Global School of Law in order to create a Summer School on Space Law.

This course has a multidisciplinary approach, addressing not only legal subjects but also technical, commercial and political issues associated with the Space Sector. The course approaches the most relevant space sector subjects, such as international space law rules and principals, satellite communications, new space challenges among others.

Magda Cocco, VdA's Space Law practice head partner, and Helena Correia Mendonça, consultant of the same practice were guest speakers at the course.

The course took place between July 25th and 29th at Católica Lisbon University, and one of the sessions took place at VdA’s Lisbon office.
