Margarida Couto and Susana Almeida Lopes are speakers at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) 2016, as VdAcademia's president and member of the board, in the scope of VdAcademia's collaboration with ARCTEL -  Association of Regulators of Communications and Telecommunications of CPLP (ARCTEL-CPLP) and its Training Center. ARCTEL is the organizer of the speaking pannel in which Margarida Couto and Susana Almeida Lopes take part which is entitled “Capacity Building, a Gateway for Development” and is taking place on the 5th May. The WSIS is organized by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and this year is taking place in Genève.
